Marshal has released its new e-mail security and management solution, MailMarshal SMTP MOM (Microsoft Operations Manager) Management Pack that enables live and historical monitoring of events and alerts on MailMarshal Servers.
The software, distributed in South Africa by 10Net ICT Solutions, provides specific MailMarshal event integration including performance counters, security alerts, critical error alerts and general system health.
"MOM allows an administrator to link together monitoring information for multiple computers and set customised trigger levels for events and alerts. This means that administrators can rely on MOM to alert them to a potential issue and pull information together from many separate sources, improving efficiency and focusing the administrator's efforts on key tasks," says Riaan Otto, GM of 10Net ICT Solutions.
Combined with MailMarshal SMTP, the e-mail security and anti-spam solution, the MailMarshal SMTP MOM Management pack is a customised set of tools, scripts and reports designed to feed specific MailMarshal data to the MOM administration console. This in turn provides the administrator with a range of important benefits, such as high availability and reliability, improved productivity and efficiency, and increased knowledge and awareness.
