2011 ATEN Academy Road Show visits SA

ATEN International, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of cutting-edge connectivity solutions, is conducting the ATEN Academy Road Show on 11 May 2011, in Cape Town, South Africa, one of the stops across South Africa. ATEN and its authorised distributor, Falcon Electronics, served as sponsors of the event.

Targeting VAR and SI channel partners, the ATEN Academy Road Show provides insights into ATEN business strategies and its latest product offerings.

Highlighting the importance of the ATEN Academy Road Show, Allan Sun, Associate Vice-President of ATEN International, remarks: “ATEN has a strong partnership with Falcon Electronics and plans to further expand the channel base and market share through various activities, such as partner training programmes, multi-city road shows and channel events in this year. Through these activities, we plan to share our vision with partners. The most important outcome of ATEN Academy Road Show is that in sharing the full knowledge of ATEN products, our partner offices can represent ATEN in the right way, by giving right kind of guidance to buyers and end-users, in the future.

“The KVM industry is growing at a multi-fold rate and is expected to touch one billion dollars by 2012, according to industry reports. Apart from the KVM market, our foray into professional audio/video is another opportunity for partners to make profit margins,” Sun indicated.

Participants at ATEN Academy Road Shows are trained to understand and manage ATEN products in various ways. This training aims to impart proficient knowledge in operation and application of ATEN solutions. The participants also develop a deeper insight into the functions and benefits of different products offered by ATEN.

The road show focuses in orienting participants on ATEN's new offerings: complete ALTUSEN Over the NET solutions for centralised IT infrastructure management, and a series of newly launched VanCryst Professional A/V Solutions. Case studies and success stories of ATEN products are shared during the event. ATEN also offers some insights into the sales aspect, USP of each series, and product positioning.
