Motorola ING`s significant capital investment in the local market through its Infinity Accredited Partner Programme, has seen 21 resellers capitalising on the world class training, technical support and significant marketing budget that this programme delivers.
Craig Rosewarne, Motorola ING product manager at Westcon, says: "With the selection process and much of the training already complete, the Infinity Partner Programme now enters a phase of active marketing. Westcon`s role is key - not only because we manage and run the programme on an ongoing basis in SA on Motorola ING`s behalf, but also because we receive so many sales leads thanks to our excellent position in the local industry. Through the partner programme, we`re now able to identify the best reseller for each prospective customer and so ensure high standards of service and delivery."
Neil Fairbrother, channel marketing manager of Motorola ING for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), says: "In addition to the overall capital investment in the launch and maintenance of the programme, Motorola ING has made a total of R420 000 available to boost our new partners` marketing budgets. Each reseller will, therefore, have R20 000 at its disposal for exclusive use on promotional material, advertisements, conferences or roadshows relating to Motorola ING.
"Westcon is conducting the training of each reseller`s sales and technical teams - over the past two months, seventy engineers were trained across the country. Further coaching will include all areas of pre-sales, sales and post-sales and in the longer term, partners will undergo annual reviews to ensure that all skills sets remain up to date."
