3Com Corporation today announced the 3Com NBX Contact Centre Solution Providers Programme, a programme designed to expand the array of software and services for the NBX family of IP-based business telephone systems specifically focused on call and contact centre applications.
An expansion of the 3Com NBX Solution Providers Programme, the Contact Centre Solution Providers Programme will concentrate on delivering fully integrated applications to meet the growing end-user demand for predictive dialling, call recording and monitoring, voice recognition IVR, and workforce management.

The 3Com NBX Contact Centre Solution Providers Programme allows third-party application vendors to establish interoperability with 3Com`s NBX networked telephony platform, giving customers a broader selection of call and contact centre applications that work together "out-of-the-box". For NBX authorised resellers, this programme provides access to applications that will help them meet the business communications requirements of their customers.
Participant requirements
To join, application vendors agree to demonstrate full integration with the NBX platform. Vendors that have proven complete integration are designated as a 3Com NBX Contact Centre Solution Provider and the related applications are promoted through joint marketing efforts to 3Com NBX Voice Authorised Partners. Current and new vendors include:
Braxtel Communications: The Fluency Communications Suite is an all-in-one customer contact solution that delivers all of the functionality of large contact centres in a cost-effective solution for small and mid-sized contact centres.
MoonFire Corporation: Delivers Web-based outbound telemarketing software for the NBX system, utilising Progressive Dialling, ideal for B2B and quality B2C calling. With customers experiencing talk time up to 35 minutes per hour, DialVisionR is an excellent solution to expensive alternatives.
EasyRun, Inc: EPICCenter product suite incorporates voice, fax, e-mail and Web interactions to provide small to medium contact centres with the necessary tools to maximise performance levels. EPICLite is a cost effective, comprehensive voice routing and management system designed to control and monitor all ACD call centre activity.
IVoice: iVoice`s Speech Enabled Auto Attendant simplifies how clients and other employees reach their target.
The Appointment Reminder allows executives to remind contacts of scheduled appointments by playing pre-recorded reminder messages or use Text-To-Speech to play appointment information.
Trivium: TriVium Systems delivers two applications for the 3Com NBX platform. SimpleRM is a Web-based suite of customer relationship management software that extends the NBX platform by providing sales force, customer support and marketing automation. It helps turn phone-based call centres into multi-channel contact centres. CallAnalyst is a package that monitors phone use, analyses phone traffic, helps optimise phone usage and cut costs with over 100 off-the-shelf reports.
Sales and support
NBX Authorised Partners work directly with 3Com NBX Contact Centre Solution Providers for orders, fulfilment and support of applications. Solution providers provide technical and application notes covering installation, limitations and warranty related to the applications and 3Com will continue to provide service and support for its NBX products through its customer service organisation and NBX Voice Authorised Partners.
