3Com Corporation has announced the availability of its new 10/100Mbps + 56K Mini PCI Adapter. The product is targeted at 3Com`s resellers and system integrators and is geared to giving them new revenue opportunities in the emerging Mini PCI market.
3Com SA country manager, Chris van Niekerk, says the launch outlines a clear roadmap for resellers and system integrators for next-generation mobile connectivity.
"3Com is giving resellers and system integrators greater flexibility and functionality for notebook PC system design. It will enable them to meet the growing demand for a cost-effective LAN and modem solution," he says.

The 3Com 10/100 + 56K Mini PCI Adapter is a small form factor communication card for integrated modem and LAN connectivity in notebook PCs. The Mini PCI adapter "snaps" directly on mobile computer motherboards, leaving all external PC card slots free for other peripherals.
3Com`s provides fast transfer rates, quick downloads and enhanced application performance. Mini PCI cards support all host system power management features to ensure optimum battery life. A broad spectrum of PC notebook brands are supported.
