3Com Corporation has released more than 60 networking products that support the Microsoft Windows XP operating system. It has confirmed that the network drivers for these products are embedded in Windows XP.
Windows XP readiness for its products has resulted from several months of close co-operation with Microsoft, says Chris van Niekerk, country manager of 3Com SA.
3Com products supporting Windows XP include its entire line of 10/100/1000 Ethernet Network Interface Cards (NICs) and wired and wireless mobile solutions.
"Working side-by-side with Microsoft, 3Com networking solutions are optimised for the Windows XP environment and can deliver the best experience for home and business networking users," says Van Niekerk.
"3Com connectivity products are designed to optimise the performance of business or consumer networks and integrate seamlessly with existing network management software and hardware infrastructure.
