3Com Corporation and EDS today announced they have signed an agreement in which EDS will include 3Com`s broad portfolio of switches, routers and voice over Internet protocol (VOIP) enterprise networking products into its solutions. The launch complements 3Com`s extensive reseller and partner channel which continues to be successful in targeting mid- and small-enterprise customers.
As part of today`s announcement, 3Com and EDS will collaborate in solution development activities meeting the needs of enterprise customers.

EDS will initially roll-out 3Com technologies in the US and UK and in vertical markets such as retail and finance, with later expansion to additional countries and vertical industries. Initial technologies EDS will include in its solutions suite are 3Com`s VOIP solutions for new customer opportunities and 3Com switches and routers.
