Backing its claim to be one of the world`s most innovative information technology companies, 3Com Corp has been awarded its 500th patent in the US - more than any data networking company.
Starting with the industry`s first Ethernet interface devices two decades ago, 3Com technology now connects more than 300 million people worldwide.
Focusing on consumers, commercial enterprises and communications carriers and providers, 3Com addresses areas of home networks and gateways, Internet appliances, broadband Internet access, local area network (LAN) and mobile access, business LAN telephony, wireless mobility and high-speed LANs.
The company also offers network service and support for businesses and consumers.
