3Com SA announced the winners of its Partner Awards at the company`s annual Partners 3 Conference 2004, held this year at the well-known Royal Livingstone Hotel in Zambia.
In today`s competitive and cash-strapped IT industry, it has become increasingly important for vendors to acknowledge and reward their loyal partners that contribute to their local as well international success.
"Through the 3Com Partner Awards we not only acknowledge those that have worked hard throughout the year, but we also thank our partners and individuals for their support and loyalty," comments Debbie Hunter, channel manager at 3Com.
Looking at the awards, Comztek won Distributor of the Year, with Choice Technologies winning Gold Partner of the Year.
Others winner included, Tecor, Silver Partner of the Year, as well as Mark Morey of Choice Technologies, who walked away with the Sales Person of the Year award.
The Partners 3 Conference aims to provide insight and information on the latest trends and products, as well as provide a platform for partners to share ideas and interact on issues that face the SA IT industry.
