3Com`s SuperStack 3 Switch 4400 was awarded `Best Network Product of the Year` at the 2002 Computing Industry Awards ceremony in the UK.
Now in its tenth year, the annual event rewards products, companies and individuals for their contribution to the UK IT industry.
The awards presentation was attended by over 730 guests and took place at the Le Meridien Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.
Products short-listed for the awards had to have made a significant impact on business during the year and meet strict criteria, covering functionality, features, performance, price, market positioning, innovation, fitness for purpose, future proofing and integration capabilities.
The judges selected 3Com as best meeting these criteria in its industry sector.
