3fifteen achieves 6th place in Deloitte Best Company to Work For survey

Johannesburg, 02 Oct 2008

Local Microsoft development powerhouse and Britehouse subsidiary, 3fifteen has announced its achievement of sixth place in the Small Company category (50 - 300 employees) of the annual Deloitte 'Best Company to Work For Survey'.

3fifteen CEO, James Baber, says the company is extremely pleased with this result, since this is the first year 3fifteen has participated in the Deloitte survey.

“Our sixth place ranking acts as an important validation of the efforts we've made to become a sought after player in the local workplace environment,” he says.

“And the fact that the survey covers all industries in the South African market only adds further credence to this,” he adds.

3fifteen has conducted internal staff satisfaction surveys for the past two years which have validated the strides it has made in the areas of staff wellbeing and skills retention. However, Baber says, it is only now that 3fifteen has been benchmarked against its peers that it can confirm those efforts are bearing fruit and assisting in attracting new talent.

“3fifteen currently has a staff complement of 120 people spread out across its offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban,” Baber says.

“And with our sights strongly fixed on growth, an external validation of our efforts to become a workplace provider of choice is critical.”

Baber says that 3fifteen is committed to improving its ranking in the coming year and will use the feedback it receives from employees, through the Deloitte Survey, to fuel its progress as an employer of choice.

“Improving on our employees' satisfaction, building a sound skills development platform and continuing to provide a comfortable work environment are therefore key priorities for us going forward,” he concludes.
