3fifteen brings true mobile CRM to market with TenDigits Software partnership

Johannesburg, 18 Jun 2009

Local Microsoft development powerhouse and Britehouse subsidiary 3fifteen has announced that it has put sufficient resource and skill in place to become a certified Implementation Reseller Partner for TenDigits' MobileAccess solution, which extends comprehensive and secure use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM via smartphones, with our without an available wireless signal.

MobileAccess from TenDigits, the only mobility product in the world to attain the “Certified for Dynamics CRM” designation, has many unique capabilities, including its patented multi-window navigation designed to greatly improve the user experience and productivity compared to traditional CRM mobility products.

The fact that it's also designed with the smart-client world in mind and thus can be deployed to both BlackBerry and Windows Mobile smartphones, makes it a very attractive offering.

“This obviously offers massive benefit to companies that have a wide variety of mobile handsets in their IT fleet,” Paul Slade, CRM Business Unit Manager at 3fifteen says, “especially if one considers that a CRM solution's success is directly related to how easy it is to use and how accessible it is to the employees that should be using it.”

Besides bringing CRM functionality to a wider array of mobile devices, Slade says that MobileAccess brings a new level of simplicity to the mobile realm in terms of integrating, tailoring and managing CRM on mobile devices.

“Most notably,” he says, “MobileAccess integrates directly into the back-end of Microsoft CRM and gives IT administration staff the ability to manage mobile CRM applications, permissions and user levels from the Microsoft CRM interface itself, much in the same way they would manage desktop access to the CRM system.

“This means that there's hardly any requirement for additional skills and training overhead for corporate IT departments and that very little change management overhead needs to be catered for when it comes to the company's on-the-ground workforce.

“Customers can furthermore exert greater levels of control over the appearance and functionality of the mobile interface, formatting the front-end so that it's more appropriate for mobile phone screen sizes and ensuring critical information is placed at the forefront, without intrinsically altering the interface itself for having to build a bespoke interface for mobile users alone,” he explains.

“Lastly,” Slade says, “because the implementation time of MobileAccess is so low, customers gain quick time to value, bringing mobile CRM functionality to the mobile workforce's hands within days as opposed to weeks.”

Derek Warburton, Vice-President of Sales at TenDigits, says: “We're really excited to have 3fifteen as one of our certified partners. They have great skills, a sound track record, and good inroads into the market, which will do a great deal to extend MobileAccess' reach into the South African business space.”

“We see great potential in our partnership with TenDigits and believe it will bring on a new era in mobile CRM over the coming months,” Slade concludes.
