Local Microsoft development powerhouse 3fifteen has, for a second year running, achieved sixth place in the Small Company Category (50 - 300 employees) in the annual Deloitte 'Best Company to Work For' survey.
3fifteen CEO, James Baber, says the company is extremely pleased with this result as 3fifteen is actively striving to become a sought-after player in the local workplace.
“The Deloitte survey is an excellent tool that helps us understand what motivates and engages our employees. 3fifteen currently has a staff complement of 160 people across its offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. The survey feedback enables management to address staff well-being and skills retention. With our sights strongly fixed on growth, becoming an employer of choice will assist in attracting new talent. Our sixth place ranking acts as an important validation of the efforts we've made. The fact that the survey covers all industries in the South African market adds further credence to this,” he adds.
Baber says even in these tough economic times, 3fifteen will remain committed to its employees and continue to build on the 'great people and great company culture'.
“Improving on our employees' satisfaction, building a sound skills development platform and continuing to provide a comfortable work environment are key priorities for us going forward,” he concludes.
