The entry of SAP Business One software into the cloud has prompted Pretoria-based SAP Business One solutions supplier and implementer 4most to sign a co-operative agreement with Anderson group company SaaSn to provide a channel to speed up the adoption of SAP Business One into the cloud market.
“As a result of the agreement, SAP Business One software will become a complementary component of SaaSn existing and future cloud solutions in South Africa and the entire SADC region,” said 4most business development director Eugene Olivier.
“SaaSn is a leader in the field of software as a service, and the company has a well-established channel into southern African markets. We see this as a sound opportunity to significantly increase the exposure of SAP Business One in the cloud.”
SaaSn managing director Cameron Mckenzie said the partnership with 4most constitutes a strategic opportunity to grow the existing market with future expansion into sub-Saharan countries.
“Cloud solutions and business process management (BPM) software is high on the agenda for organisations, as tough trading conditions prompt senior management to refocus on improving internal business processes and eradicating unnecessary costs.”
Mckenzie added that the Anderson group is investing significantly in both the distribution of TaskCentre, a value-adding software package, and in the production of ready-to-deploy BPM solutions with the release of a number of “solutions as a service” over the next few months.
“Our partnership with 4most supports the goal of 4most and Orbis Software, the creator of TaskCentre software, to become the leading provider of BPM and cloud solutions to the global SMB marketplace.”
Business process consolidation services provided by SaaSn include document and content management, virtual government assistance, professional services, business intelligence, digitising, consulting and training.
