8x8 boosts virtual office

8x8 has unveiled Virtual Office Pro, a unified communications service which lets users manage communications online through a centralised portal, reports XChange.

"Our business customers' administration and daily use of their desktop IP phone is now as simple as sending an e-mail or using a social network to communicate,” says Debbie Jo Severin, 8x8's head of marketing.

The software integrates with Microsoft Outlook contacts and a corporate directory to create, join and invite people to Web, audio and video meetings. It also allows the sending and receiving of faxes, and the ability to record calls.

Ademero, Ricoh partner

Document management software vendor Ademero has partnered with Ricoh to distribute its Content Central DMS in Canada, reports PR Web.

The agreement provides Ricoh with exclusive rights to distribute Ademero document and content management software products and services throughout Canada. This includes its independent dealers and IKON Office Solutions locations.

The partnership will increase Ademero's reach in the document management marketplace while providing Ricoh Canada with a powerful document management package to complement its multifunctional devices and office equipment.
