9th BIT Consulting has partnered with a software delivery automation solutions provider XebiaLabs to help organisations solve software release and deployment issues they face today.
Under the terms of agreement, 9th BIT can sell and support XebiaLabs offerings in SA, says Barry de Waal, chief executive - strategy and sales at 9th BIT.
The company will utilise the XebiaLabs XL platform to provide the automation and support organisations require to meet the demand for faster software deployment cycles, he adds.
Organisations will be able to reduce application delivery costs, accelerate application time to market and bridge the gap between development and operations (DevOps), says 9th BIT.
"Adding XebiaLabs to our vendor portfolio is a major boost for us, says De Waal.
"We are confident that the combination of XebiaLabs' technology with our in-field experience in delivering automated software solutions will prove to be a win-win for both of us."
Coert Baart, CEO at XebiaLabs, says the partnership will give XebiaLabs access to the emerging and potentially lucrative South African market for software delivery automation solutions.

According to De Waal, most organisations are looking towards moving to automation to address the new world of Agile, micro services architecture, DevOps and continuous delivery.
