These deliverables offer a one-year warranty and extended warranties are available upon request. CSSI Africa has also made tremendous inroads into data and computer forensic services. Having already successfully provided these services for leading law firms and corporate organisations, this will be the next expansion phase for the company. All data media devices undergo unique data preservation and analysis processes that allow the engineer to find even the smallest piece of incriminating evidence. The lab engineers at CSSI Africa are then able to analyse data as it has never been possible before, even the ability to recover PST e-mails that have been deleted and long gone. Since CSSI Africa - Cape Town opened its doors three months ago, its largest data recovery project undertaken was the recovery of a 980GB server. The server ran on a RAID system, which had a `multiple drive failure`. Despite the system having previously gone to another data recovery company and the data being declared `unrecoverable`, CSSI AFRICA managed to program an extraction sequence that used the parity (ECC) code from the two failed drives and remapping data using an algorithm to reconstruct the missing data blocks. The entire volume and its data content was 100% successfully recovered.
