Electronic communication and document management is set to enter a new league, thanks to the convergence of Internet and digital technologies in the all-new UF-E1 Panafax the latest innovation in fax technology from Matsushita which allows e-mail to be sent and received in the same way as a fax.
"The UF-E1 has built-in e-mail capability, combining the speed and convenience of e-mail with the simple operation of a fax," explains Ben Hunt, director of Panasonic`s Office Automation and IT Systems division. "This means that handwritten or printed paper documents can now be sent as e-mail to a PC."
The UF-E1 also offers a host of other features in a single desktop unit, including Super G3 fax, plain paper copier, answering machine, telephone with speaker-phone, and colour inkjet printer. Plus it offers a 10-station abbreviated autodialler, a 120 station directory dialler, memory recording and two-way recording.
"With so much to offer, the UF-E1 is a truly powerful tool capable of handling all manner of document management and communication tasks," continues Hunt. "It^1ll change the way people interact in the business environment."
