A new name for Dial & Save

By Global Research Partners
Johannesburg, 09 May 2008

Dial & Save, a converged communications solutions company, today announced that it had changed its name to dns Telecom, thus mirroring more accurately the nature of its business.

"We required a name that was in line with the strategy we have laid down for our business," commented Vaughan Humphrey, Managing Director of dns Telecom.

"Dial & Save reflected only one aspect of our business, whereas dns Telecom will easily embrace our current portfolio, the new solutions that we will be bringing to the market, as well as incorporate our planned acquisitions and investments that are already in the pipeline."

dns Telecom

Dial & Save was originally established in 2004 by a group of IT and telephony professionals to intercept and exploit the opportunities created by the deregulation of the South African telecommunications industry.

The skills encompassed within the Dial & Save group are consistent with those required as a result of the ongoing convergence of voice, video and data on the IT infrastructure of organisations.

Dial & Save is a customer-centric organisation that supplies best of breed end-to-end communication solutions to corporate South Africa specifically oriented at reducing the costs of converged communications, but without any compromise in quality or capacity. Consequently, it has agreements and partnerships with many solution providers, such as BCS-Net, Electronic Communications Networks (ECN), Global WebIntact, MIA Telecoms, Telemat, Telkom SA, Transtel and Zensho Telecoms.

Dial & Save has a customer base that embraces both the public and private sector and includes organisations such as Blue Financial Services, CTP Danou, Imperial Holdings and JD Group.
