Fluke Networks recently launched its all-new and innovative device - Visual TruView. This is a very first of its kind in the industry as the appliance is a unified, single box network and application performance monitoring and troubleshooting solution.
The aim of Visual TruView is to eliminate the need for network engineers to co-ordinate troubleshooting and monitoring across a wide variety of systems all at the same time.
According to a recent survey conducted by Fluke Networks, more than half of network professionals do not have the necessary tools they require to quickly and accurately identify issues with VOIP, application transactions and other network performance issues. Visual TruView has resolved this by integrating multiple tools into a single box, including a packet and transaction data analyser, a NetFlow analyser and device management. In essence, all a networking professional needs for performance monitoring and troubleshooting solutions is the Visual TruView device.
To ensure these integrated functions operate without degrading performance, Visual TruView has 2.5 times more analytical processing power than any competing solution. Over and above, TruView features a single, correlated dashboard that makes it easy for engineers to drill down to individual or groups of flows, packets or transactions of any user, site or period of time in just a few clicks. Furthermore, it offers automatic identification and configuration of applications and networks, thus simplifying the set-up process in merely 15 minutes or even less.
TruView comes in five models, ranging from an entry-level device featuring a 1U system that can Stream to Disc (S2D) at 2Gbps, and store 2TB of data that is known as The TruView-2200, to the top-of-the-range known as TruView-6200, which Fluke Networks deems its top-end device.
In plain English, why would one opt to ignore a solution to the many problems that contribute to an IT department? "Imagine if somebody convinced you that carrying around a GPS, a camera and a phone was as good as carrying a smartphone." - Daryl DeBalski (Fluke Networks Vice-President and General Manager).
