Leading ICT solutions and services provider, Abnoba, and Galdon Data have announced the launch of their fax archive, management and billing solution - FaxWarehouse. The locally developed product is offering enterprises and SMEs all-round benefits to their existing electronic fax investments.
FaxWarehouse is the country`s first totally integrated fax document archiving, management, reporting and billing engine with a slew of already successful installations. The product also tightly integrates with RightFax, the global leader in electronic fax server and document delivery solutions.
Fairoz Jaffer, Abnoba`s CEO, says: "FaxWarehouse is targeted at existing fax server and RightFax environments, financial services and contact/customer service centres with the ability for service agents to track a faxed document from anywhere in SA."
FaxWarehouse has already been widely accepted and applauded by the market with Rudi Martins from RMB exclaiming: "Awesome application which does everything that it is designed to do!" and Jean Louw from Investec says it`s "absolutely brilliant".
FaxWarehouse is based on the Microsoft .Net framework and can be applied to either SQL Server 7 or SQL Server 2000. The solution uses Web-browser interface and Telkom billing codes. The solution focuses on archiving and managing fax documents with security, retrieval and dynamic departmental billing. Its key features include:
* Provision of storage fax documents, with date, time and CSID information in an open database environment.
* Minimises the workload on the fax server and introduces redundancy to access documents.
* Faxes are easier to retrieve in the office or across the Internet from all users and departments based on security access.
* Reporting on document delivery usage.
* Departmental and/or customer billing for cost recovery.
Garry Ackerman, Galdon Data`s managing director, says: "FaxWarehouse enables better businesses by controlling and improving employee productivity. The market finally has a solution to easily archive faxes and make them available across the Internet, manage costs through departmental/customer billing and producing real-time usage reports."
The FaxWarehouse product is developed by I-Systems, a local development company. Abnoba actively sells and markets the product with all technical implementation and maintenance services being carried out by Galdon Data. The Abnoba and Galdon Data partnership has exclusive rights to distribute the FaxWarehouse product in southern Africa.
