About IT, a South African financial systems solution provider, has been awarded the Gauteng Pastel Channel Partner and Pastel Business Evolution Partner for 2007.
The company says it is also number one on Softline Pastel's overall accolades list for channel and business evolution partners countrywide.
The awards take into account the number of sales for the year and the number of dedicated certified personnel, as well as the company's respective contribution to research and development, explains About IT.
"About IT is South Africa's largest installer of Pastel solutions and since inception almost five years ago, its client base has seen a 35% year-on-year growth," says Roux Crafford, MD of About IT.
The Pastel awards are indicative of the company's strengthening business as well as the level of its service delivery, he adds.
In addition to the Pastel accolades, About IT reveals it recently received the Silver Arrow Award from PMR Research, an independent researcher that bases its awards on nominations received from companies' customers.
