Absalom updates SmartHR BI

South African HR software vendor Absalom Systems has updated its popular HR business intelligence (BI) tool, SmartHR BI, according to PRLog.

SmartHR BI is a pre-configured BI module purpose-built for analysing HR data.

Absalom Systems developed the product through a partnership with Qliktech.

Salary.com, a provider of on-demand compensation, payroll and talent management solutions, has released CompetencyManager, a patent-pending, SaaS competency management and development software solution, states Earth Times.

CompetencyManager provides the data and tools to easily design, create, validate, implement, export and maintain competencies and job models within its competency-based HR applications.

The software allows users to leverage Salary.com's comprehensive competency libraries, import third-party competency data or create their own.

NuView Systems, a provider of Web-native HR software, and Capella International, a provider of outsourced payroll services, have joined forces to provide a "global HR and payroll solution" to international organisations, according to IT Business Net.

Using NuView's single database and platform, international organisations will be able to manage their global workforce, generate reports on global headcount, view benefit and payroll costs for the entire enterprise, and properly pay their global workforces according to country-specific labour and pay rules by leveraging Capella's extensive network of payroll providers in 84 countries around the globe.

Changes in regulatory requirements such as Sarbanes Oxley and the Anti Foreign Corruption Act make US companies liable to ensure that all their foreign operations and payroll providers remain compliant.
