Abu Dhabi bank deploys loan solution

The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) will deploy a commercial lending solution by Misys, a provider of application software and services to the banking and financial industry, for its loan operations, writes Market Watch.

"The solution proposed by Misys will provide the bank with market-leading functionality that addresses each area of the bank's requirements from the structured finance team, credit management, risk control, accounting and compliance and portfolio management,” says Kevin Hayden, treasury and capital markets operations director for Misys Middle East and Africa.

“The bank preferred a turnkey product, highly capable of resolving their operational issues, which will be delivered via our Loan IQ system,” adds Roy Froud, director of Misys Middle East and Africa.

PowerSteering Software, a software-as-a-service provider of enterprise project and portfolio management (PPM) solutions, has been placed in the 'visionaries' quadrant of Gartner's 2010 Magic Quadrant for IT project and portfolio management, says PRWeb.
