Accelio Corporation, a leading global provider of Web-enabled business process solutions distributed in South Africa by Global Technology Business Intelligence (GBI), reports that Accelio Present Output Pak for Oracle E-Business Suite has achieved Approved Integration status for Oracle E-Business Suite 11i.
Output Pak for Oracle E-Business Suite enables Oracle users to create high quality, customer-facing documents, such as invoices, purchase orders and checks. XML data is seamlessly captured from Oracle E-Business Suite and merged with customised document templates to create documents which can be delivered via fax, e-mail, print or the Web.
Accelio has worked closely with Oracle to obtain Approved status in the E-Business Suite Integration Program, culminating in the successful implementation of a formal Oracle-witnessed integration approval test. "Receiving Oracle Approved Integration status is a significant achievement, it demonstrates to Oracle customers that our output solution is recognised as a leading and complementary technology, says Shawn Cadeau, vice president and GM of the Accelio Present business unit. "Using this Accelio solution, Oracle customers will be able to extend their E-Business Suite applications, to easily produce high quality, professional documents."
"Accelio, in business since 1982, helps organisations gain sustainable advantage by extending and speeding up their core business processes," says Johan Cloete, CEO of Global Technology Business Intelligence. "The Accelio global distribution network spans every continent, with more than 8,5 million users worldwide."
Accelio customers are Global 2000 organisations in the financial services, banking, manufacturing, utilities and public sectors. It is also a member of the E-Business Suite Integration Initiative and the Oracle Partner Program (OPP), a global business network of more than 12 000 companies that deliver innovative e-business solutions with Oracle software.
"Through access to Oracle`s premier products, education, technical services, marketing and sales support, the Oracle Partner Program provides partners with the resources they need to be successful in today`s Internet economy," says Cadeau. "Oracle partners are able to offer customers leading-edge solutions backed by Oracle`s position as the world`s leading supplier of e-business solutions."
Oracle developed the E-Business Suite Integration Initiative Program as the need for integration can persist for legacy applications, new custom applications that need integration with the rest of the e-business, and for broader business-to-business initiatives.
For these needs, Oracle provides Oracle Integration, a key component of 9iAS application server. The EBI Partner Initiative is focused on systems integrators with practices involved in application-to-application (A2A) and business-to-business (B2B) integration activities, regardless of their involvement with Oracle E-Business Suite. Initiative members receive free software, specialised or advance integration and product training, as well as being included in press and marketing opportunities.
In addition, Oracle field sales is educated on the partner`s expertise and vertical focus and is encouraged to go to market with EBI partners to win joint business.
