Local Computer Associates International subsidiary, ACCPAC Africa, has announced that ACCPAC International has acquired eWare Limited of Dublin, Ireland.
"eWare is a developer of customer relationship management (CRM) software," says Jeremy Waterman, managing director of ACCPAC. "A private label version of the eWare software, ACCPAC eCRM, has been actively marketed by ACCPAC for the past 18 months under an OEM agreement with eWare and the product will continue to be marketed as ACCPAC eCRM."
ACCPAC eCRM is a CRM application designed to integrate a business' interactions with its customers, partners and prospects across the enterprise by providing sales force automation, call centre automation, marketing automation, customer and partner Internet self-service, and integrated workflow.
eCRM can be accessed via the Internet or wireless devices, which allows users to access and update the system at anytime, from anywhere.
"This means, for example, that a remote field sales organisation can access customers' past communications as well as vital information such as customer credit status, inventory availability, quote and order processing, and transaction history," says Waterman.
Available in three editions, ACCPAC eCRM integrates with ACCPAC Advantage Series and ACCPAC Pro Series accounting software.
