ACCPAC fulfils vision of delivering business management solution to suit mid-market enterprises

ACCPAC International, Inc, a division of the interBiz group of Computer Associates, recently introduced software that fulfils its vision of providing the most complete, scalable business management solution set for automating critical business operations-from accounting through Web site development, customer relationship management and warehouse management. The ACCPAC Advantage Series Small Business Edition completes ACCPAC's long-planned goal of providing a single, easy-to-scale platform for the entire mid-market that automates all critical financial and operational processes. The new software package offers an easy entry point for businesses with up to five users.

Small Business Edition is part of the highly popular ACCPAC Advantage Series of scalable mid-market business management solutions. All Advantage Series editions (Enterprise, Corporate, Small Business and Discovery) are built on the same open, architecture. This allows businesses to cost-efficiently increase the functionality and capabilities of their accounting and operations software as their businesses grow, with minimal additional training and complete preservation of existing data as well as screen or report customisations.

The new Small Business Edition is a bundle of integrated modules including bank reconciliation, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory control, order entry and purchase orders. It also includes the popular report-writer in the mid-market Crystal Reports, and has the ability to attach removable 'sticky notes' to any of its fields and share these notes with any user connected to the same network. The new bundle also allows financial staff to import or export virtually all data from other sources across an enterprise.

As with other ACCPAC Advantage Series editions, Small Business Edition users can add full e-business and customer relationship management functions through an optional ACCPAC eTransact Web store creation and management module and the recently announced ACCPAC eCRM.
