AccTech Systems ready for Sage ERP X3 version 6

Softline Accpac Business Partner of the Year, AccTech Systems, has welcomed the launch of Sage ERP X3 version 6 as announced by local channel distributor, Softline Accpac on 21 January. The local announcement followed immediately after the international launch held by Sage International in Paris, France in January.

“Version 6 of Sage ERP X3 brings with it more than 500 product enhancements across the various modules, and the initial feedback from our customer base has been phenomenal,” says Tertius Zitzke, Chief Executive Officer of AccTech Systems.

“With an ERP X3 install base that greatly outnumbers any other local VAR, such a massive product release has huge effect on our organisation and our customers. The clear product roadmap provided by Sage International and supported locally by Softline Accpac presents a great sense of stability and reliability for the rapidly increasing ERP X3 market,” says Zitzke.

Modules that saw the biggest area of improvement include e-commerce and finance, which will see companies benefiting from enhancements in budget and cost accounting, commitment management and asset management. “The Material Requirements Planning and Work Order features of version 6 will further cement Sage ERP X3 as the de facto mid-market ERP solution for the manufacturing and mining industries,” says Zitzke.

“Our initial investment in Sage ERP X3, both from a resource and development point of view, has greatly positioned AccTech to take the product forward on the African continent. Almost all our existing installations required multi-company, multi-site and multi-currency rollouts. We believe our ability to integrate ERP solutions such as Sage ERP X3 and Sage Accpac ERP with solutions such as Microsoft EPM and SharePoint, has allowed us to take so-called mid-market ERP solutions into the Tier 1 and Tier 2 ERP space,” says Zitzke.

“AccTech eWorkflow.NET, which was initially designed as a business process management solution for Sage Accpac ERP, has been adapted for ERP X3. Together with solutions such as AccTech Integration.NET, we are able to integrate the core ERP system to any production, front office or custom developed system. While remaining database independent our focus stays the same for every single installation... driving business optimisation through the deployment of technology,” says Zitzke.
