Acer`s AL1921 LCD monitor range expands the company`s Office Line range of displays to satisfy the growing business need for larger screen formats with crisp results when viewing multiple applications. The new monitors incorporate advanced TFT technologies within an exclusive design guaranteeing both excellent productivity and ergonomics.
Acer offers two versions of this 19-inch monitor: the standard (AL1921ms) with the classic black and silver chassis, and the AL1921hm (white) model, featuring an innovative height adjustment and swivel system.
"Both versions feature a large, professional multimedia display that integrates a high-quality LCD panel with a vast array of interface options," says Charlene Meltz, product manager: LCD displays and notebooks, at Acer. "The 19-inch TFT display is both slim and compact, weighing just 6kg with a depth of 172mm for excellent ergonomics. The 600:1 contrast ratio, combined with a response time of 25ms and horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 170 degrees, provides sharp images over a larger screen area. The ample screen size (376x301mm) and excellent brightness (300cd/m^2), together with the digital DVI-D interface, deliver excellent results.
The large screen area allows for simultaneous viewing of a number of various work applications for increased work efficiency and productivity.
The `hm` version of the Acer AL1921 model features a sophisticated adjustable arm enabling the professional user to adjust the height of the display by +/- 10 cm. The screen can easily be rotated left and right, enhancing the all-round usability of the monitor and increasing work comfort.
All Acer LCD monitors ship with a three-year carry-in warranty, while Acer CRT monitors are covered for two years.
