The latest European "Branded Market" report, published by Bryan Norris Associates, confirms Acer`s continuing growth in the standalone LCD display segment of the Western European market. According to the report, the company strengthened its overall leadership over the past quarter, increasing market share to 14%.
Acer`s first place in Europe is the result of being the leading supplier of standalone LCD displays in no less than six countries in the first quarter 2004 and second or third in five other countries.
The market results confirm Acer`s strategy of developing sophisticated designs, reliable and advanced interface solutions is well appreciated by the dedicated market segments, says David Drummond, MD of Acer.
