The event is widely regarded as the ICT sectors' own 'Oscar' awards and reflects general industry sentiment towards corporate and individual achievement.

This year, according to confirmation from the organisers of the African ICT Achievers Awards 2007, Integr8 IT is an African ICT Achievers Finalist in the following categories: Top ICT Workplace Provider; Most Innovative ICT Company; Top Private Sector CIO; and Top ICT Businessman.
Each category in the awards features its own set of criteria against which candidates or nominee companies are measured. The process is stringent and includes the provision of documented case studies and interviews.
