Acrow Bridge, a leading international bridge engineering and supply company, was recently invited to participate in two major events on doing business in Africa - The Corporate Council on Africa's (CCA) US-Africa Business Summit, in Chicago, and the Africa Global Business Forum, a pre-event to the summit, also in Chicago, presented by the US Department of Commerce, General Electric and CCA.
"Africa is a continent brimming with opportunities, particularly in the infrastructure space," said Paul Sullivan, Director of International Business Development at Acrow. "We are honoured to have been a part of these timely events, which brought together African and American leaders in business, government and finance to begin making important connections in Africa's most promising sectors."
At the summit, Sullivan moderated a panel of business and government leaders on best practices in penetrating the African transportation infrastructure market. He was also a featured speaker at a summit workshop on building the right public and private sector relationships to start and expand business investments in Africa. Prior to the summit at the forum event, Sullivan offered insights as a panelist on how to increase exports to and finance transactions in the fast-growing markets of sub-Saharan Africa.
