ACT targets national business

Advanced Consumables Technology (ACT) has put the word out about its vendor partners. The company, together with the likes of Brother, Canon, Epson, Tally, OKI, Xerox, HP and Lexmark, will embark on a nation-wide training and marketing campaign, driven through its Academy, beginning next month.

Positioned at the forefront of the consumables space, a market that has experienced significant growth of late, ACT has structured its product, training and partner awareness programme into a three-tiered national initiative.

Travelling to all areas of the country including Nelspruit, Pietersburg, Kimberly, Klerksdorp, Bloemfontein and George, ACT will present a full spectrum of awareness around product, business development and workshops.

The main aim of this initiative, says ACT Managing Director, Anton Herbst, is that ACT has come to realise and appreciate the fact that there is huge reseller business opportunity within areas that are not always the focus of vendors and distributors alike.

"As an example, Nelspruit is one of the fastest growing areas in SA, it alone has more than 60 resellers. Potential clients in many of these areas often do not receive the kind of support and attention reserved for counterparts in larger areas like Gauteng, for example. Our national campaign is targeted at current and potential clients who will benefit at some level - whether it`s entry-level, workshops or strategic business planning and consideration. Through the ACT Academy we are making a concerted effort to support our regional resellers in order to bring value to these local markets," explains Herbst.
