The main aim of this initiative, says ACT Managing Director, Anton Herbst, is that ACT supports the fact that there is huge reseller business opportunity within areas that are not always the focus of vendors and distributors alike.
In a bid to address this issue, the company has taken its sales, marketing and training strategy to several areas that show definite potential in terms of an effective trade base.
The sessions presented an overview of how the consumables industry was doing in relation to the South African economy. In addition, the latest printer sales statistics and the impact it will have on the consumables industry going forward was also highlighted. At the end of each session the latest trends in photographic papers was shown to the delegates in a practical display.

However, what we would like to make a note of - and remind our vendor and reseller partners - is that these areas demonstrate an effective source of business and much in the way of opportunity. Our experience shows us that local businesses within these areas are keen to explore opportunities and partner with those players within the market that are equally keen to share benefits, explore changes and embrace challenges," says Herbst.
