Activision, in collaboration with Disney Interactive, has launched the new Playstation console and Nintendo 64 platform game title based on Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 2, now available from Multimedia Warehouse, a division of Siltek Distribution Dynamics (SDD) and member of the Siltek IT Supply Chain Group.

The game's launch coincides with the release of Disney/Pixar's computer-generated animated film Toy Story 2.

"Based on Disney/Pixar's upcoming sequel to the hit animated film, Toy Story 2 is a 3D, third-person free-roaming adventure game that uses the magic of Pixar computer-generated animation to deliver a unique mix of gameplay elements," says Brett Smith, product manager at Multimedia Warehouse.

"As the resourceful hero Buzz Lightyear, players embark on a perilous quest to save Woody from an overzealous toy collector. Players must navigate through seven action-packed worlds filled with dangerous obstacles, environmental challenges and unique enemies," says Smith.

"Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 2 is sure to be one of the blockbuster hit of next year. We are looking forward to working closely with Disney Interactive to tie together our marketing efforts behind the film's launch," states Bob Dewar, Excecutive Vice President, Activision International.

"By incorporating many of the film's elements within the game, we will bring players into the world of Buzz and Woody with exciting gameplay that we believe will become an entertainment phenomenon."
