Adapt snaps up eLinia
Telecom Paper reports.
With an enterprise value of £13 million, eLinia is the first of a new wave of acquisitions that will drive Adapt's medium-term growth strategy; strengthening its position within the UK managed services market, RealWire states.
The combined annual turnover of the blended company is expected to exceed £50 million.
In addition, Adapt claims the cost and convenience of cloud-based services has driven strong market growth in recent years; Adapt in turn has experienced increased demand for its flexible managed services business model and cloud delivery platform.
The UK's managed service provider sector is growing at 25% to 30% a year as organisations look to farm out the cost and complexity of overseeing IT, Channel Register notes.
Adapt MD Stewart Smythe says the company's strategy is to achieve £80 million to £100 million in revenue in the next three to four years.
Last month, Google partner Cloud Sherpas and Salesforce.com stalwart GlobalOne partnered, and only last week Grove Group acquired Cloud Direct.
