AdaptAIIM now available

Johannesburg, 14 Feb 2005

MCI, the exclusive distributor for Bond International Software in SA, today announced the availability of the latter`s AdaptAIIM module that allows a company`s Web site to download data, automatically, to an Adapt database via e-mail.

This is the latest enhancement module for the Adapt suite of recruitment software which is installed and running at a number of installations across SA.

With this new module, information entered in Web-based registration forms can be transferred automatically via e-mail to an Adapt database, following a predefined, but configurable format.

Candidates` details are created as Adapt database records with all the relevant database fields populated and CVs attached. Records can be created in any Adapt file - candidates, jobs, etc, and the Adapt database can be configured to process automatically incoming e-mails to a nominated address. The contents of the e-mail are then extracted and used to create or update database information using the existing Adapt database import controls.

Further automated processing can be applied to send confirmation of registration back to candidates bearing a unique reference should they wish to update their records in the future. Additionally, the system can automatically search the database for suitable jobs and send them via e-mail in summary format to candidates.

"There are numerous benefits for the customer with this new module," commented Aliki Droussiotis, Director of MCI Consultants. "For example, accurate database records are created directly from a customer`s Web site and no direct link is required between a customer`s Web site and the Adapt server because the data is transferred via e-mail, which in turn minimises the risk of users gaining access to the database server. No manual intervention is required because the process is fully automated."

"Additionally, AIIM can be incorporated into an existing Adapt system with minimal configuration; candidates` CVs are automatically attached to the newly created record, without degrading their format; more than one Web site can create records on a single Adapt database; and records and CVs can be searched as soon as candidates register," continued Droussiotis.

"There is no doubt that the Internet is now being utilised more and more for recruiting purposes," concluded Droussiotis, "thus, the AIIM module is facilitating this by providing the seamless integration that we described earlier."

Adapt Software in SA is being utilised by organisations such as Admark, Emmanuels, Human Communications, The Kelly Personnel Group, Phumelela Business Solutions, Quest Flexible Staffing Solutions and Talent on Tap.
