Africa Data Holdings, SA`s leading supplier of ISDN technologies and solutions, has been appointed as the sole distributor for the Eicon 1530 WAN Router by Eicon Networks Corporation, with immediate effect.

The Eicon 1530 WAN Router responds to the needs of small to medium-sized enterprises that seek affordable access to the Internet and corporate networks. The router includes one Ethernet 10BaseT port for connecting to the LAN and one serial WAN port for leased-line PPP or X.25 connectivity. Remote management can be performed using an auxiliary asynchronous port.
The Eicon 1530 WAN Router is easily installed and configured directly from most Web browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape. Additional ease-of-use features include support for IP Network Address Translation and automatic line interface detection by the serial port.
