Adobe awards top partners

Adobe held its Eagle Awards this month at the Venue in Melrose Arch, awarding its top channel partners in SA.

Mohammed Jogie, Adobe Africa interim regional manager, congratulated the winners. “The Adobe Eagle Awards is in honour of the dedication from our partners to the Adobe brand. As we bid farewell to 2009 and welcome 2010, we will build successful partnerships moving forward.”

Ovations took home the award for being the best Adobe new partner for 2009 while the best solutions partner was Interfile.

Comtzek won the best Adobe distributor of the year award. Suria Cronje, channel manager at Comztek, said: “Adobe is an important brand for Comztek and we have invested a lot of time and resources, including the appointment of additional dedicated sales staff, in growing the Adobe brand both in SA and the rest of Africa.”

SAP was named the best Adobe independent vendor. Learning Curve took home the award for the Adobe best reseller.

First Technology snatched two awards: the best Adobe Acrobat sales award as well as the best Adobe software management partner. Dimension Data was awarded for being the best Adobe Acrobat reseller.
