Adobe captivates e-learners

Adobe`s Captivate 2 enables creation of interactive simulations, software demonstrations and scenario-based training modules, says Strategiy.

Based on Macromedia Flash technology, it helps training professionals, educators and business users to develop specific scenarios by visually mapping out the different learning paths.

Adobe Captivate 2 content can be deployed and integrated with other e-learning solutions, such as Macromedia Breeze, Macromedia Authorware, Questionmark Perception, and SCORM/AICC compliant Learning Management Systems.

Accenture contact centre staff simulate work

Accenture has completed an e-learning development project in partnership with e-learning company eOrigen, says Training Press Releases.

The project focused on improving the knowledge and skills of contact centre staff and providing them with the opportunity to practise in a simulated environment.

The development used a wide range of media elements and interactions to engage and stimulate the audience, including video, cartoons and audio "war" stories. The total "run-time" of the modules is six hours and the development was completed in a 12-week period including the provision of basic accessibility support.
