Adobe rocks Creative Suite 3 at AdobeLive in concert

Johannesburg, 24 Apr 2007

Adobe Systems is making a rock concert of this year's AdobeLive customer seminar.

Photographers, Web and print designers and advertising professionals should hurry to get tickets to the event to avoid disappointment.

The event, called AdobeLive in Concert 2007, is presented in association with Apple, HP, the International Society of Typographic Designers and Adobe's distribution partners, and promises to continue in the tradition of being one of the design industry's most popular events.

The 'concerts', which will take place at both the Cape Town Convention Centre on 29 May 2007 and The Theatre on the Track in Johannesburg on 31 May 2007, guarantee to be different from anything customers have attended in the previous three AdobeLive events.

"Apart from the real concert atmosphere with concert food stalls, screaming fans and guest appearances by Adobe Rock Stars, AdobeLive in Concert 2007 will feature both local and international design talent and speakers," says Mohammed Jogie, design evangelist for Adobe MEA.

"The speakers will show design professionals how they can make the most of Adobe Creative Suite 3 (CS3) in design and creative enterprise solutions," he adds.

AdobeLive in Concert 2007 aims to attract 1 400 students, industry professionals and enterprise designers, exposing them to both an interactive exhibition of the latest products and services from Adobe and its partners in the Adobe Golden Circle, as well as a full day conference with some of the industry's most informative personalities and experts.

"It's going to be the event of the year, where attendees will be able to experience the latest Adobe technology first-hand, while letting loose in the concert atmosphere," Jogie says.

The line-up also includes a 'tips and tricks' session, showing designers what they can achieve when they mix their imaginations with Adobe technology.

"Speakers on the bill include Richard Galvan and Bob Donlon from Adobe US, and Andrew Lindstrom, Jeremy Sampson and myself from Adobe South Africa. We will all take attendees through various aspects of CS3, as well as Adobe Design Suite, Web Suite and Production Suite, showing them exactly what all the excitement is about surrounding Adobe's newest product suites," Jogie says.

"There will also be a special guest appearance by popular South African comedian, John Vlismas, who will help get the creative juices flowing with a motivational talk on 'The shared world'."

Design professionals wanting to attend this year's AdobeLive event can register on www.adobelive.co.za. Tickets start at R300 for students. Affiliated professionals will get in for R500 and for non-affiliated professionals a ticket will cost R600.
