Among the new features are tools for mobile marketing, campaign management, social collaboration and targeting. Adobe also says the CQ5 system will be integrated with the Adobe Online Marketing Suite, allowing businesses to deliver more targeted content to identified segments.
According to Good Gear Guide, the combination should allow Web publishers, marketers, and others to create Web sites that support membership and targeted experiences (such as custom content based on identification), integrate with CRM systems, and track Web-based marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Rob Tarkoff, senior vice-president and general-manager for Adobe Digital Enterprise Solutions, argues that businesses should present customers and clients with a personalised experience, writes V3.co.uk.
"The pressure is high for businesses to become more social, personalised and interactive while maintaining greater revenue at a lower cost," he said.
"This careful balancing of effectiveness, improved customer experiences and multi-channel optimisation can only be achieved through an end-to-end Web experience management solution."
