ADP reveals cloud-based HR suite

cloud-based suite, called Vantage HCM, that will provide an incredible amount of resources to HR professionals and the employees they service, Venture Beat reports.

"Vantage will help HR departments with over 95% of their needs," says Don Weinstein, senior VP of product management at ADP.

According to Info World, Vantage HCM is a browser-based cloud offering designed to cover the entire human-capital life cycle, from applicant pre-screening, to employee on-boarding, to managing performance, timesheets, and employee education, to post-employment administration.

ADP is offering the solution on a modular basis, meaning customers might just opt for payroll processing and time-management functionality, while forgoing, say, the module for tracking and managing employee skills or training.

ADP contends the new software will help large companies reduce costs, improve employee retention, and give HR a more strategic role in the organisation, notes Forbes.

ADP CIO Michael Capone says ADP has 550 000 clients, over 200 000 of whom are using the software as a service versions of payroll products, covering more than 40 million people.

The company notes the platform will allow clients to swap out components or add new capabilities in the future.
