ADP unveils mobile payroll solution

Processing (ADP), has introduced a free mobile application for smartphones to assist employees with payroll activities, called the ADP Mobile Solutions application, reports Readwrite Enterprise.

The company has integrated a variety of applications for employee self-service activities that previously used Web portals from desktop browsers. ADP estimates more than nine million individuals could eventually use the app.

According to PR Newswire, using the ADP Mobile Solutions app, employees of ADP clients in the US can view recent pay statements, access corporate directories and company news, time and attendance remotely, and review ADP Retirement Savings information.

With this application, employees can view pay statements from up to five previous pay periods, toggling between net pay and gross pay year-to-date.

Daily Market says in 2009, Hackett Group conducted Payroll Performance Study for the American Payroll Association, top performing companies that utilise electronic pay, spend 50 % less for payroll processing than comparable businesses.

“ADP is an electronic wage payment solutions, and businesses can be confident in selecting Aline Pay by ADP as their single solution for achieving a 100% electronic payment ,” says Gary Lott, ADP GM and division VP at ADP Unemployment, Payments and Garnishment Services.

“We listened to the needs of our clients and their concerns about having a compliant solution for their employees.”

The new component, Aline Pay by ADP solution employers will reduce administrative costs and losses due to fraud. Enhanced user features such as online bill pay and text-message/e-mail alerts on account balances.
