South African company ensemble, a provider of technology solutions for the financial industry, has added a complete, network-enabled CFD trading application to its stable of products.
"CFD trading is currently facilitated by a number of retail, online dealing applications, which are varied in their functionality, and both the currencies and CFD products they offer," commented Brian Anderson, Director, ensemble. "Ensemble identified a market requirement for a comprehensive CFD trading application to serve corporate needs."
Ensemble`s CFD Trader is an automated, real-time, trading and administration platform with multi-currency and multi-instrument support. The core and integrated components form a closed network trading environment, while remote trading for corporate clients and brokers is provided through additional Web-enabled modules.
"The Contract for Difference is a relatively new instrument which continues to rapidly grow in popularity. The CFD was developed to allow investors to receive all the benefits of trading in underlying instruments, without actually buying or selling the instrument itself. CFDs are very attractive as the investor can trade on margin, allowing greater leverage of investment opportunities," commented Anderson. "This new type of geared up instrument will allow corporates to introduce new lines of business. CFD trading attracts a wider audience as the cost of transacting is reduced while the frequency of trading is increased, because you can trade on intra-day trends."
CFD Trader provides flexible integration to market data providers, and enables multiple data sources to be managed. Margin rules and rules to create synthetic prices can also be applied. The open architecture of CFD Trader allows integration into risk management systems and other reporting tools or application environments.
"Ensemble has developed a number of trading platforms and is thus positioned to build this type of solution. We understand the nature of trading together with the specifics around CFDs and margin trading. We have built a product that is easy to use and comprehensive, offering functionality for positions, valuations, cash accounts, stop losses and margin calls, " concluded Anderson.
