Aegis unveils proactive BI tool

Aegis Pi enables users to gain insights into data streams, analyse operations metrics, and get global perspectives of their organisations in real-time through a mobile interface.

The BI industry has grown from a $1.6 billion market in 2003 to nearly $8 billion nine years later, according to Gartner.

In addition, BI platforms that include mobile capabilities are expected to become increasingly common as more people work on tablets, smartphones, and other mobile devices.

“Aegis Pi empowers organisations to predict business challenges before they arise and act pre-emptively to mitigate their impact,” The Economic Times quotes Aparup Sengupta, MD and global CEO, Aegis, as saying.

“This solution will enable clients to have access to real-time information across the globe on a single window,” he adds.

The suite will compete with other BI software in terms of the need it fulfils, but will only be available as a customisable solution and not as a product that can be licensed, its executive VP Sandeep Gulati says.
