Afritel Cellular is a leading Vodacom service provider in the pre-paid market. They currently have 20 stores nationwide with future growth potential especially in the informal market sector.
Estrin Software is designing and developing a turnkey solution to handle their inventory and supply chain management. This is specifically to track inventory movements and transfers between the central warehouse and branches.
A barcode enabled point-of-sale system will be rolled out nationwide with the ability to control unique serial number tracking and warranty information. Afritel will be looking at either linking their stores on-line or through dial up access, ensuring that group inventory and sales figures are consolidated on a realtime or daily basis.
Estrin is currently negotiating with Afritel to offer an on-line web presence with integration to the backoffice system.
