Air Canada expands call centre

Montreal-based Air Canada signed 50 new employees in October, and will need the additional 100 full-time workers over the coming months.

Air Canada employs 700 call-centre representatives in North America.

The expansion will boost the Montreal call centre's workforce to more than 250 people, to CTV.ca says.

Air Canada operates other Canadian call centres in Saint John, Toronto and Winnipeg, Canadian Business notes.

Its US call centre is in Tampa.
