The Microsoft technology based consulting company, Airborne Consulting, has shown significant growth after joining the EOH fold at the end of 2011. The company has rebranded into EOH Microsoft Coastal in line with the consolidation of Microsoft companies and services within the EOH group.
Managing Director Brian Harding, who was also one of the initial founding partners and has thus been there since its inception, says: "We have gone from strength to strength under the EOH brand. We have started leveraging the EOH brand and other companies within the group, although this still remains largely an untapped area for us. Airborne was on the up and up when EOH bought us, and this trend has continued at an impressive rate."
The company is known primarily for its custom software development and has always modelled itself on being a local (Cape) offering as an alternative to Microsoft Consulting Services. However, in recent times, it has branched out into other lines of business, namely CRM, business intelligence, mobility, SharePoint and core infrastructure optimisation.
Harding says: "We now cover the full spectrum of Microsoft products and services, with the exception of ERP, which is handled by one of our sister EOH companies. In particular, we see ourselves at the forefront of Microsoft's strategy and push into the areas of mobile, big data, cloud and social. We have adopted the cloud in all aspects and have strong skills and offerings in Azure and Office 365. This allows us to offer CRM and SharePoint in the cloud as an alternative to on-premise, should our clients want that.
"Our business intelligence offering also maximises the wonderful product and solution offerings from Microsoft that leverage the SharePoint and CRM platforms, as well as the push into mobile offerings on Windows 8. In short, we are able to offer our customers a cohesive experience using the best that Microsoft technology and solutions have to offer."
EOH Microsoft Coastal has built up a solid track record of delivery into the Cape market, servicing many blue chip corporates and medium-sized enterprises. Harding says they will continue to push aggressively into new areas of business that align with Microsoft's overall solutions offering and strategy.
"EOH has approximately 500 people involved purely in providing Microsoft solutions and services to clients. Ultimately though, we will always place the delivery to clients as our highest priority - that is what our reputation is built on and we will never let that suffer in any shape or form."
