The award was presented to AirDefense's President and CEO Anil Khatod during a reception at the 2006 Georgia Technology Summit: Innovation on the Edge.
As part of the gala event, AirDefense also exhibited its solutions, including AirDefense Enterprise, the most secure, scalable and cost-effective wireless intrusion prevention and troubleshooting solution, and AirDefense Personal, which provides comprehensive real-time threat detection and automated response for mobile workers, enabling employees to conduct business securely from the home, airport, customer sites and other hotspots.
The Top 10 Innovators were chosen based on a number of criteria, including: degree of innovation, scope and financial impact of innovation, likelihood of success, and promotion of Georgia's innovative efforts nationally and internationally.
